Spike the Stigma Fundraiser | July 16, 2022

This event is dedicated to raising awareness for mental illness, specifically for men seeking and needing mental health support. This all-day volleyball tournament is open to the public. Come cheer on the participants, take part in the 50/50 raffle, silent art auction, great food and drink specials, and listen to a live DJ.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to Mental Health America of Ohio, LOSS Community Services, and the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation.

PRS Community Event + Job Fair | May 22, 2024 | 9 AM -3 PM

This event will feature a job fair connecting certified Peer Recovery Supporters (PRS) with employers who are hiring, information for those in recovery who would like to become certified, as well as stories and advice from the field. A panel of experienced PRS and a panel of supervisors and employers will share their perspectives on the work and answer questions. We welcome prospective and certified PRS, supervisors, employers, advocates, and anyone in the field who would like to celebrate peer support and learn more about the individuals and organizations who do this work.

Give Mom the Mic

For the past ten years, our annual Give Mom the Mic event has attracted a sold-out crowd of Central Ohioans who care deeply about healthy moms and families. This hilarious and heartwarming event supports programs and services MHAOhio offers to help people on their journey to mental wellness, including POEM (Perinatal Outreach and Encouragement for Moms), which aims to support moms experiencing maternal mental health complications.
