On December 6, MHAOhio welcomed over 100 guests to our 65th Annual Holiday Magic volunteer recognition event.
We were honored to recognize and thank our volunteers, supporters, and partners who donated their time and talents to others.

MHAOhio’s Norman Guitry Award, named after the founder and first Executive Director of Mental Health America of Ohio, recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution in the area of mental health. We were honored to present the 2023 Norman Guitry Award to Zandia Lawson, Bureau Chief of Recovery Supports at the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.

To make the evening even more special, we were also excited to announce the appointment of our new Executive Director, Tonya Fulwider.
Holiday Magic attendees generously participated in our ongoing tradition of collecting gift donations for the Twin Valley Behavioral Health patients who will be spending the holidays in the hospital. Thank you so much for your gifts of clothes, personal care items, and other wish list requests. We are truly grateful for your support.
