MHAOhio is pleased to announce that on December 6, the Mental Health America of Ohio Board of Trustees appointed Tonya Fulwider as our next Executive Director!
In her nearly 12 years of service to MHAOhio, Tonya has been a tireless mental health advocate, served as the agency’s Associate Director, and led POEM, the twice nationally-award-winning program, which she co-founded.
Her journey within our organization has been marked by countless moments of inspiration, innovation, and genuine compassion for others.
“Tonya is a visionary leader,” said Allison Mitsui, MHAOhio Board of Trustees Immediate Past President. “Against the backdrop of our current growth, Tonya will undoubtedly guide us toward a continued bright future.”
