Kappa Kappa Gamma Raises Money for MHAOhio

MHAOhio was honored to be The Ohio State University Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG) sorority’s philanthropy of choice this year! We greatly appreciate their donations to our mission!

Through their events and fundraising initiatives, they raised over $5,600 for MHAOhio.

“We wanted to support MHA because our chapter believes it’s essential to take care of our mental health, and spread the message to the community that it is important to do positive things to support your mental health in everyday life,” said Brenna Voye, KKG’s Philanthropy Director. “We love what this organization supports and we want to contribute to helping others get the resources they need.”

Kappa Kappa Gamma, Beta Nu chapter, raised money by holding events throughout the year, such as selling tacos in a bag at night, selling hot dogs before an OSU football game, and hosting a 5K race at Smith Farms on Parent’s Weekend. They also posted a fundraising bingo board on World Mental Health Day to inspire people to donate online.

Support from organizations like Kappa Kappa Gamma help us to break down barriers, challenge stigmas, and provide essential referrals, resources, and support services to those in need, free of charge.
